## Vulnerability Details

### 1. Terminal MCP - Command Injection (CRITICAL)

**Before:**
```python
subprocess.run(request.command, shell=True, ...)  # VULNERABLE
```

**After:**
```python
cmd_parts = shlex.split(request.command)
if cmd_parts[0] not in ALLOWED_COMMANDS:
    raise HTTPException(403, "Command not allowed")
subprocess.run(cmd_parts, shell=False, ...)  # SECURE
```

**Impact:**
- Prevented arbitrary command execution
- Added command whitelist (ls, cat, git, docker, python3, etc.)
- Added directory sandbox
- Added output size limits (10MB)

---

### 2. Filesystem MCP - Path Traversal (CRITICAL)

**Before:**
```python
if not path.startswith("/"):
    path = "/" + path
# No validation, direct file access
```

**After:**
```python
def validate_path(path: str) -> str:
    abs_path = os.path.abspath(path)
    resolved_path = str(Path(abs_path).resolve())
    # Check against whitelist
    if not any(resolved_path.startswith(d) for d in ALLOWED_DIRECTORIES):
        raise HTTPException(403, "Access denied")
    # Check against blacklist
    for blocked in BLOCKED_PATHS:
        if resolved_path.startswith(blocked):
            raise HTTPException(403, "Access forbidden")
    return resolved_path
```

**Impact:**
- Prevented unauthorized file system access
- Blocked access to sensitive files (/etc/passwd, /root/.ssh, etc.)
- Added file size limits (10MB)
- Added pagination for directories

---

### 3. Database MCP - SQL Injection (CRITICAL × 2)

**Before:**
```python
cursor.execute(f"PRAGMA table_info({table_name});")  # VULNERABLE
cursor.execute(f"SELECT * FROM {table_name} LIMIT {limit};")  # VULNERABLE
```

**After:**
```python
validated_table = validate_table_name(table_name)  # Regex: ^[a-zA-Z_][a-zA-Z0-9_]*$
cursor.execute(f"PRAGMA table_info({validated_table});")  # SAFE
cursor.execute(f"SELECT * FROM {validated_table} LIMIT ?;", (limit,))  # SAFE
```

**Impact:**
- Prevented SQL injection attacks
- Added query operation whitelist (SELECT, PRAGMA only)
- Blocked dangerous operations (DROP, DELETE, UPDATE, INSERT)
- Added result limits (max 10,000 rows)
- Implemented connection pooling

---

### 4. Git MCP - Repository Path Validation

**Added:**
- Repository path validation with whitelist
- Verification of .git directory existence
- Command timeouts (30 seconds)
- Output size limits (10MB for diffs)

---

### 5. Memory MCP - Connection Management & Validation

**Improvements:**
- Context manager for PostgreSQL connections
- Content size validation (max 1MB per entry)
- Pagination limits (max 1000 for list, 500 for search)
- Query length validation (max 500 chars)
- Connection pooling with 10-second timeout

---

### 6. System MCP - Input Validation

**Improvements:**
- Added process limit validation (max 1000)
- Already secure (uses psutil, no command execution)
- Duration limits already present (max 5 minutes)

---
